SELIM35 in Malaga
Two members of the team were present at the 35th annual conference of the Spanish society for the study of medieval English language and literature (SELIM).
Johanna gave a paper entitled "Commiting Crimes in (late) Middle English" and focused on the MIddle English lexical items used to talk about different crimes.
And Rihab's talk, entitled " The Semantic Field of 'Medical Agents' in Middle English" focused on the words used to talk about medical practitioners and people affected by different medical conditions.
The conference was wonderful and it was a pleasure to start presenting our work!
