SEM XXV at the University of Zurich
Last month, the University of Zurich organised the 25th Studientag Englisches Mittelalter (or SEM XXV). It was a great opportunity for the members of our team to present our work to other reasearchers interested in the English Middle Ages.
Rihab gave a talk entitled "The Categorisation of the Semantic Field of MEDICINE in Middle English", which dealt with the data collected so far in that semantic field and how to organise it in our database, as well as with a few concrete example of the analyses for which the data collected can already be used.
Olga gave a project report to explain our project to the audience and start promoting our database: the Middle English Thesaurus of the Learned Professions (METtLe).
It was a pleasure to share our work with everyone who attended and to get to hear their remarks and their questions.
