WAW-ME workshop
On January 7 and 8, we had the pleasure of welcoming several guests for a workshop on "Identifying and Classifying Middle English Technical Terms".
We had rich and insightful discussions about specialised language, semantic hierarchies, tagging and source languages with our invited guests: Marc Alexander (University of Glasgow), Kathryn Allan (University College London), Fraser Dallachy (University of Glasgow), Philip Durkin (Oxford English Dictionary), Paul Schaffner (Middle English Dictionary), and Louise Sylvester (University of Westminster).
